Every child loves an Easter egg hunt which makes it the perfect way to fundraise! Ask parents to contribute an amount of your choice to your fundraiser to take the kids off their hands for an afternoon egg hunt. Plan an Easter egg or sweet hunt in a garden whether it be at a park or in your local pub’s garden/children's play area. Not only will it provide a fun and active afternoon for the children, but you’ll also be able to raise a lot of money!
Everyone's favourite race at school sports day was always the egg and spoon race! Not only can you get both children and adults involved in this activity, but it's simple and cost effective to arrange; all you need is spoons, eggs and a bit of space for the race. Charge each of the participants to enter the race and have a small prize to award the winner- you could ask for prize donations as an incentive for people to enter!
eBay is a great way to fundraise money as the site avidly supports sellers who are fundraising for a charitable cause! Everyone has something lying around their house that they could donate to sell whether it be an old games console, books or even clothes. Simply ask parents to give an item to their child to bring in as a donation and start selling! People online are also much more willing to pay more for items they know are for a good cause!
Putting on an Eighties night is fun for both parents and children as they get to dress up and have fun reliving the eighties! Simply ask everyone attending to pay a small fee at the door towards your fundraiser, have donation buckets around the event and if possible sell 80’s themed snacks and drinks to raise more money.
